Defeating Master Controller from Genesis Simulation unlocks an addition 15 levels similar to ascension. You can level up a tamed creature 73 times (or 88 times in case of Genesis: Part 1 creatures) past the original level it was tamed at (after Taming Effectiveness is applied), these are known as domestic levels. The only exception is if a tribe-mate crafts things nearby and you are either riding a mount or carrying a small creature, then both you, the tribe-mate and the tamed creatures will benefit from the shared xp-gain. XP is used to level your character or creatures, which makes them stronger.
