Chloe Narcisse was launched in 1992. I was wearing nothing, but when I sprayed it on I thought I'd accidentally sprayed it on top of Charlie Gold: the opening is so similar! I repurchased a bottle for nostalgia and either they reformulated or my nose did a 180. Totally "there" with one spray, so use cautiously! The original formula EDP is my absolute favorite and in my Top 5 fragrances. But apparently we do! I love how it starts pretty strong but then it develops to a soft and complicated clean and creamy rosy, peachy smell. It’s pretty but not really me. Give it a chance to literally BLOOOOM on your skin. I've bought a few bottles in the past. A breeze can really bring out this scent from your skin wafting into the air and scenting it with apricot, flowers & spice. I challenge you to try this for yourself in a megadose for a few consequent days. It does last 4 hours on my skin which is max on my skin. And I'm happy to report that for once I didn't regret it: this is all I was hoping for and more. I wear this for myself to feel beautiful and to match up with some of my cocktail dresses and gowns. I practically drifted round the room like Pepe le Pew, following the scent trying to.figure out where it was coming from. I know it probably sounds bizarre but its a beautiful blend. I love floral perfume, but the day I found this beauty, I realized I especially love spicy florals. Picked up the 100ml Edp for under $30AUD at my local chemist using my discount card. I get a TINY hint of Amarige, and an even tinier flicker of Eternity in here as well - that honey-dipped carnation aura - though the fragrance as a whole stands alone, head held high. Beautiful. I thought I might use it to layer with another scent . Nothing unisex, or even slightly masculine about it. The top notes include peach, pineapple, sweet orange blossom and delicate violet. Definately my next purchase. Such an unusual blind buy for me, one I never expected to make. I used this as my signature back in the early 90's and i loved it. Gone is the tuberose which is replaced with luscious white flowers. The heart is made of gardenia, carnation, jasmine and rose. Love, love, love this 90's classic! Eventually I narrowed it down and asked the lovely lady in question. I love the orange-tinted amber color of the perfume and the flower capped bottle, but if anything, they are too simple of a look for for this, in my opinion, very unlikely smell. I love it!! If this scent was a woman, she would probably be Sofia Vergara in a colorful sundress showcasing her curves, strappy heels, flower in her hair, and she has a fruity cocktail in one hand... loads of fun, sensuous, womanly, happy. I used to wear it when I was in my sixteen. It's like they found a way to bottle a beautiful-yet-sticky summer day and I absolutely love it. Chloe Narcisse was my pick for today. The advertisement for this one was very romantic and included a smelling strip. Love them both, and they are on my ‘all-time favorites’ list, but I find that Narcisse has always been the better fit for my personality. The spice is not cloying, but balances the juicy, sweet fruit with warmth and depth. Beautiful flower bomb. It’s sweet, but not candy-sweet and there are hints of bitter notes. Today I tested it at TK Maxx for the first time - at last! Generous and full of amber-lit love and warmth, like sucking sweets on a warmer than usual spring day with a hand picked bouquet of spring daffodils and dirt on your knees, grass stains on your summer frock. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE tell me why this was discontinued? Also it feels familiar, I'm sure I smelled it on other people over the years. A deliciously thick warm floral that lasts the whole day with a single spray.
